Civil / Structural Engineer\n\nRemote with occasional visits to the office\n\nLocation - Manchester OR London OR Newcastle OR Glasgow\n\nContract role - 6 months rolling\n\nInside IR35 - £65 / hour Umbrella\n\nA Civil / Structural Engineer is required to join a design consultancy on a 6-month rolling contract. The role is remote, but you MUST be willing to occasionally travel to either Manchester, London, Newcastle or Glasgow (dependent on your location). This role will be working in the Energy Transition industry working on low-carbon projects from early-stage development through construction, operation and eventual decommissioning.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDeveloping Civil & Structural solutions across Feasibility, Concept, FEED, Value Engineering and Detailed Design stages.\nProducing structural 3D models, design reports, GA drawings, pipe support designs, foundation envelopes and RC detailing etc.\nSupporting the development of plant layouts and integrated 3D plant models.\nWorking with equipment vendors to refine equipment package designs and participating in technical evaluations.\nContributing to tender submittals for Civil & Structural work, as well as multidisciplinary tenders.\nOpportunities for site involvement during development, construction and commissioning phases.Requirements\n\nA relevant engineering degree\nWorking towards chartership\nExperienced in Civil / Structural detailed design.\nStrong working knowledge of and international codes and standards used in the power and energy sectors.\nExperience with structural design software such as Robot Professional or STAAD Pro, and CAD tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.\nExperience collaborating with clients and contractors with diverse technical and commercial objectives.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of , , , belief, , sexuality or .
