CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Structural Engineer to join our engineering team supporting the detailed design and engineering of a significant onshore oil and gas project in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in civil and structural engineering within the oil and gas sector with strong technical expertise in detailed engineering of industrial facilities and infrastructure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and review civil and structural engineering deliverables including foundation design steel and concrete structures buildings culverts roads and drainage systems for onshore oil and gas facilities.
• Perform and validate structural analysis and design calculations in compliance with international codes and project specifications.
• Prepare construction drawings design reports material take-offs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical mechanical piping etc.) to ensure integrated and constructible designs.
• Review and comment on vendor documents ensure compatibility of vendor-supplied equipment with civil/structural design.
• Participate in technical reviews model reviews and design coordination meetings.
• Provide support during procurement construction and commissioning phases as needed.
• Ensure all civil/structural work adheres to safety quality and environmental standards.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil/structural engineering for onshore oil and gas projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in detailed engineering of oil and gas facilities.
• Proficiency in engineering tools including: MAT3D Foundation 3D Ram Connection RCDC ETABS SAP2000 AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards such as ACI ASCE API BS and Eurocodes.
• Familiarity with Middle East client specifications (e.g. ADNOC Aramco) is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written)
