Base pay range
$70.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and verify detailed structural designs for complex projects involving steel and concrete structures.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of technical documents.
Prepare detailed technical reports on specific design issues and project progress.
Support construction teams by resolving field change requests and handling nonconformance reports.
Mentor junior engineers and designers, guiding them through complex design challenges.
Schedule and manage off-project review requirements for engineering deliverables.
Lead or participate in technical discussions with clients, suppliers, and construction teams.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in complex concrete and steel structural design.
Proficient with structural analysis software such as GTSTRUDL or STAAD, and CADD applications like Revit or Tekla.
Familiarity with AISC Steel Construction Manual and ASCE 7.
Strong ability in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Exceptional understanding of engineering deliverables like drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical issues clearly and concisely.
Able to address and resolve design issues across various stakeholders.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Qualifications:
Experience with Mathcad or similar engineering software.
Professional Engineering License (PE).
