Civil Project Engineer in Greeley

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, along with proficiency in various engineering software tools.

Duties

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects including site development, utilities, grading, drainage, roadways, and structures.
• Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Provide technical support to field teams during construction, including resolving design and constructability issues.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and compliance with design and safety standards.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain project documentation including logs, reports, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist with permitting and environmental compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and civil design standards.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in civil engineering or construction project support.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
