Civil Project Engineer

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Design, management and production of construction plans for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and educational
  • Preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid specifications
  • Reviewing and processing contractor submittals
  • Preparing site investigation and development feasibility reports
  • Maintaining project documentation
  • Communicate and maintain good client communication
  • Perform quantity takeoffs, shop drawing review, and prepare bid specifications
  • Perform quality control review of design projects
  • Present projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the general public.


Minimum Requirements

 

·        B.S. in Civil Engineering 

·        P.E. registration or ability to obtain P.E. registration

·        5 to 15 years’ experience in Civil Engineering design related projects 

·        Design experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3Dand HEC-RAS software 

·        Familiarity with local agency approval processes a plus, but not required.
