About the Role
Are you a seasoned project leader ready to guide complex civil engineering projects from concept through completion? Galloway & Company Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our growing team. This is a client-facing position that blends hands-on project management, cross-discipline coordination, and relationship building, all within a highly collaborative environment.
As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in preparing site designs and engineering documents, supporting project permitting, and working closely with internal teams and external clients. You'll apply your understanding of civil engineering principles to tasks ranging from site layout and grading to erosion control and utility system design. With an emphasis on precision and performance, you'll help manage concurrent projects, maintain schedules, and assist in technical calculations and reporting.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in diverse project types, including subdivisions, commercial and multifamily developments, and public works initiatives. You’ll also contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships and ensuring the high quality of your work speaks for itself.
Key Responsibilities:
· Applying civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, stormwater, water and sewer, erosion control, and roadway/fueling design.
· Assisting in technical writing for civil reports, letters, and permit documents.
· Drafting construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
· Preparing improvement plans, specifications, and permit applications.
· Performing and reviewing calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater, transportation, and site earthwork quantities.
· Recognizing discrepancies in data and resolving them through detailed, step-by-step processes.
· Managing multiple projects with awareness of schedule, budget, and client expectations.
· Playing an active role in business development and client engagement.
Requirements
Education:
· Bachelor of Engineering from a board-approved, four-year engineering curriculum.
Experience:
· 4+ years of civil engineering experience required.
· At least 2 years of land development experience is highly .
· Possession of a PE license or eligibility to take the PE exam within six months of hire.
Benefits
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000.
