Degnan Horne is a fast-paced, client-focused civil litigation firm dedicated to solving real estate, construction and business problems effectively and efficiently. While we handle complex, high-stakes litigations, our philosophy is to provide smart, practical solutions for our clients.

We represent both plaintiffs and defendants in complex real estate, construction and business litigation.  We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney that wants to handle a variety of cases and help clients achieve the best possible resolution to their problem. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in litigation but also understands that true client service means balancing zealous advocacy with problem-solving efficiency. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to bill hours or to take orders from an insurer; it’s for an attorney who wants to make a difference for clients while building a strong practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution.

• Develop case strategy, draft pleadings, conduct discovery, argue motions, and handle hearings, mediations, and trials as appropriate.

• Communicate directly with clients, providing clear, practical advice and keeping them informed at every stage.

• Identify and implement efficient, cost-effective solutions to client problems, while being prepared to litigate aggressively when needed.

• Bill and manage time effectively through our practice management system.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Arizona State Bar.

• 2–6 years of civil litigation experience , but we are open to candidates with strong foundational litigation skills.

• Excellent research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• Strong client communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to client needs.
