Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Details

The Associate Attorney is a full-time position and the selected candidate should have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. Although experience with trusts, estates and probate is helpful, it is not required.

The Associate Attorney will manage their own caseload, prepare for and attend hearings, take and defend depositions and conduct trials.

Location and Schedule

The Associate Attorney will report to our Downtown Long Beach office and will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after completion of the training period.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for the Associate Attorney is $150,000 - $175,000. This position is also eligible for the following benefits:

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Research and draft discovery.
• Prepare for and attend hearings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research.
• Prepare for and conduct hearings and trials.  
• Interview and assist clients with various legal procedures.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.      

Qualifications

• Licensed member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
• At least 3 years of experience with civil litigation cases as a licensed attorney.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Experience in estate administration or probate cases .
