Role Overview

We are seeking a Civil Field Engineer to oversee and assure the quality of civil activities on a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will ensure all civil works are executed in line with Grid technical specifications, project requirements, and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and verify civil construction works on site to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and Grid standards.

Conduct inspections, quality checks, and ensure that all documentation meets project quality requirements.

Liaise with contractors, site management, and quality teams to resolve technical issues promptly.

Review and approve civil engineering documentation including method statements, ITPs, and test results.

Support safe delivery of all site activities in accordance with HSE standards and project procedures.

Report progress, non-conformances, and quality observations to the Project Manager and Quality Lead

Essential Experience

Qualified in civil engineering or equivalent experience

Knowledgeable in Grid technical specifications

Proficient in setting out using Total Station

Competent in managing quality control on site
