Civil Engineering Technician \nLocation: Cardiff\n\n The Role\nA built environment consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Cardiff team. The successful candidate will produce 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings for highways, drainage, earthworks and external works across residential and education projects. Current workload includes school and college developments, S278 highway schemes and SAB drainage designs.\n \nWhat You’ll Need \nProficiency in AutoCAD with civil engineering experience \nFamiliarity with Civil 3D and Infodrainage (or willingness to learn) \nExperience in below‑ground utility modelling using Civil 3D \nPrevious work on highway, drainage and earthworks projects \nKnowledge of Keys and TSRGD signage, DMRB and Manual for Streets standards \nRelevant engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) \nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow QA and document management procedures What’s in it for me?
