CPC is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Engineer with two to five years of experience in Land Development and Municipal engineering projects. The successful candidate will provide technical and design services supporting Land Development and Municipal projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. Specifically experienced in site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management. This position will be based in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of site plans, grading plans, and utility plans.
- Conduct site inspections to gather data for project planning.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop project specifications and designs.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project approvals.
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical support during construction phases.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to superiors.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Manages the permits with all government agencies, local and state.
- Understanding and communicating information tactfully.
Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ICPR, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
To perform the job successfully, the best candidates will have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in Land Development and Municipal projects
BS in Civil Engineering
Experience with Land Development/Site Design, Stormwater, Utilities, and permitting with our Local and State Regulatory Agencies is required.
$80,000-$110,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
