Civil Engineer (Transportation Focus)

What You’ll Do

• Manage Resources: Monitor project budgets, staff utilization, and financial targets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead Projects: Oversee roadway projects of all sizes, from planning through completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and Support: Guide project managers, engineers, technicians, and landscape architects, sharing your expertise and supporting their professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience with a focus on transportation or public works.
• Professional Engineer licensure.
• Working knowledge of MnDOT or Minnesota local agency specifications, design practices, and project assembly requirements.
• Leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage and oversee projects and teams.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience leading roadway projects in Minnesota.
• Proficiency with Microstation, Geopak, or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining a strong client base.
• Experience mentoring and overseeing engineering teams.
