Civil Engineer Technician

• Civil Engineering company specializing in site development 
  • Design of site utilities, storm water management facilities, site grading, roadways and parking lot layouts, as well as other engineering projects
  • Floodplain analysis and environmental review
  • Site inspections and construction engineering

Responsibilities 

• Assist Project Managers and Engineers in preparation of engineering plans, exhibits and calculations needed for the site development process
• Take given specifications and draft accurate drawings
• Create technical memorandums
• Work with team to verify accuracy and details
• Follow company guidelines for best practices
• Track all time spent on projects accurately

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCad/Civil 3D modeling in a civil, structural or architectural capacity.
• Experience with following is , but willing to train: sewer modeling, corridor modeling, surface modeling, section views, turning analysis
• Qualified candidates will have coursework in mathematics and science, minimum of associate's degree in engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
