The Design Engineer is involved with the design of municipal infrastructure, highways, railways, transit systems, airports, harbors, bridges, tunnels, buildings, water supply, and sewage treatment facilities. The position reports to the Senior Engineer. The Design Engineer must be a team player and have experience in heavy civil construction.

Design Engineer Required Qualifications:

2+ years of heavy civil infrastructure industry experience is required.

Proficiency in Structural software such as STAAD Pro, RISA or SAP 2000, or Geotechnical software such as CivilTech or PLAXIS, and AutoCAD software.

Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals, structural and soil mechanics.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
