Stormwater Design Project Manager / Designer

Your Impact
We are currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong technical and project management skills in stormwater and water resources design. You’ll be managing projects, working directly with public and private sector clients, and contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions that support our communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing and designing stormwater and drainage systems, preparing hydrologic and hydraulic models and reports, developing erosion and sediment control plans, coordinating permitting efforts, and supporting proposal development for municipal, DOT, and private sector clients.

What You Bring to Lowe Engineers:
7–20 years of water resources or stormwater design experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain within six months.

Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Working knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.

Experience with public infrastructure stormwater and drainage projects.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff.

Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting processes.

Ability to work in the office in Atlanta, with occasional local travel to project sites.
