Civil Engineer – Senior Technical

We seek a Senior Engineer with 8+ years of Land Development experience to collaborate closely with the Office Lead, providing quality services to our clients. This role is primarily remote from Columbus, reporting to our Canton office. The Senior Engineer will oversee and manage the production of design plans, including site plans, grading plans, erosion controls, access roads, utility and storm drainage plans, and related documentation.

Responsibilities Include:

Site Layout

Grading and Earthwork calculations

Storm Water Management Design and Permitting

Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting

Preparation and Submission of Local Land Development Permits

Quality Assurance

Mentoring and Developing Junior Staff

Required Experience:

8 years of civil or utility-related engineering experience

PE License preferred

Expertise in site layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion control design

Civil utility design expertise

Trenchless technology design experience

Construction/constructability knowledge related to design drawings and field issues

Foundation and geotechnical understanding

Experience in specification writing

Ability to mentor junior engineers (a plus)

Excellent communication skills
