Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Civil Engineer to support a variety of engineering projects from concept through completion. This role involves planning, design, coordination, and oversight of projects related to site development, infrastructure, and construction. The Civil Engineer will work cross-functionally to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects including site development, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure

·         Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports

·         Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external consultants to support project delivery

·         Perform site evaluations, inspections, and feasibility assessments

·         Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements

·         Support project budgeting, scheduling, and cost tracking

·         Review contractor work to ensure alignment with project plans and quality standards

·         Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and design challenges

·         Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports for ongoing projects

·         Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Senior Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)

·         2–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience

·         Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification , PE license a plus

·         Working knowledge of civil engineering principles including site design, grading, and utilities

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software

·         Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements

·         Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

·         Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments

·         Exposure to project management practices

·         Familiarity with environmental and stormwater regulations

·         Basic understanding of structural and mechanical systems

Work Environment

·         Combination of office and field work

·         Regular interaction with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders

·         Occasional travel to job sites as needed
