Civil Engineer / Roadway Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated team. Providing assistance with planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission infrastructure projects as well as stormwater, roadway, and site development.

Civil Engineer/Roadway Project Manager Responsibilities

:

Manage client and team through the life of a project starting from proposal preparation to construction closeout.

Technical evaluation and design focused on roadway, signing and pavement markings, utility coordination, park reconstruction, and stormwater design.

Technical knowledge and ability in applying principles of engineering.

Preparation and review of engineering design reports, plans, and specifications.

Permitting applications and coordination, calculations, and/or other engineering analysis required to produce a set of construction drawings and engineering reports.

Perform periodic construction observations of projects.

Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, proposal preparation, coordination with clients, public agencies, other consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Civil Engineer/Roadway Project Manager Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

FL Professional Engineering license required

Minimum 5 years of experience

Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to exercise initiative and display independent judgment

Self-directed and self-motivated

AutoCAD and/or Microstation/Open Roads experience

Ability to manage various tasks on several concurrent projects and follow them through to completion within the allocated period and budget
