What You’ll Get To Do
You will work with the transportation office of a large city to provide exemplary pre-award acquisition support, specifically related to planning, understanding, and documenting the Agency’s competitive evaluation policies and processes.
Using CACI's FedSelect tool, along with effective communication, civil engineering, and pre-award experience, you will provide source selection and related acquisition support. FedSelect is a cost-effective software tool designed to standardize and simplify the proposal evaluation phase of source selection.
More About The Role
As a Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background, you will assist Architect & Engineering/Construction staff and technical evaluation panels with pre-award acquisition tasks, including:
Supporting source selection activities, including technical and past performance evaluations;
Facilitating/moderating consensus and preparing source selection memoranda and decision documents (COIA);
Configuring FedSelect and convening evaluation panels;
Applying knowledge of Federal Government acquisition processes and FHWA policies to support process improvements;
Devising strategies for new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring their effectiveness;
Using quantitative techniques to assess system acquisition issues and develop risk mitigation approaches.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field from an accredited institution;
Two years of pre-award acquisition experience, including source selection support;
Experience with civil engineering through education, work, or procurement; and
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Nice to Have Qualifications
Experience with FedSelect or similar evaluation tools;
Experience supporting construction or Architecture & Engineering (A&E) procurements.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $62,200 - $130,600, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off.
Since this role can be performed in multiple locations, the listed range is an average estimate.
