Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing land development team. This full-time, in-office position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use development projects from initial concept through permitting and final design.This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing multiple projects, and contributing to high-quality land development solutions. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is not required.Key Responsibilities
- Design utility infrastructure, including water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare grading, drainage, and site development plans for a variety of land development projects.
- Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using ICPR4.
- Coordinate project design and permitting with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
- Support and assist with the planning and execution of land development design projects.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, surveyors, and internal engineering teams.
- Attend project meetings, client meetings, and public hearings as required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and local codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of civil engineering or land development design experience.
- Experience with grading and drainage design.
- Proficiency with ICPR4 for stormwater analysis and modeling.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
- Familiarity with land development design principles and permitting processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects.
- Knowledge of local, state, and municipal permitting requirements.
- Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus but not required.
