Our client who are a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy are looking for a Civil Engineer in their London office, which is in Zone 1 the location offers exceptional transport links. Within a 10-minute walk you'll find Old Street, Barbican, and Farringdon stations, giving you direct access to the Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Elizabeth Line, and Thameslink services. This means fast, no-change connections across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Heathrow, and even as far as Reading or Brighton.
The Civil Engineer that will have experience in drainage and residential projects be rewarded with a salary up to £50k maybe more for more senior individuals, flexible and hybrid working, enhanced Pension, Bonus and flexible benefits on top.
The Civil Engineer will have development potential as the company grow across all offices so there is a clear line to Principal and Associate positions The ideal Civil Engineer will have 5+ years' experience within a UK Consultancy and be working towards chartership with excellent knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.

Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements
Preparation of contract documents, procurement of contractors and site supervision
Project management.
Design and detailing of works associated with highway (s.278, s.38, etc.) and drainage agreements
Attending Client Meetings
Design and site supervision of highway maintenance schemes
Civil Engineer Job Requirements
MEng, BEng, Bsc working towards Chartered status.
Detailed design experience drainage and residential experience
Experience of using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage
Experience writing reports such as Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, etc.
Experience carrying out design of foul and surface water drainage as well as carrying out vehicle swept path assessments using AutoTrack.
Experience using ground modelling software for the design of horizontal / vertical alignment, earthworks, etc
Experience of negotiations with highway authorities, drainage authorities and Environment Agency
Driving Licence
