Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering plans and surveys
• Prepare and coordinate land development designs including site grading, pipe networks, utilities, roadways and other site elements
• Adhere to City/County jurisdictional code requirements when preparing designs
• Coordinate with City officials during planning and design preparation
• Work with engineers and administrative employees in preparation of design
• Remote work from home considered on individual basis

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with land development design
• Familiarity with engineering design plan formats and drafting standards
• Must be able to manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Must possess critical thinking skills
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must possess good verbal and communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from accredited university
