An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer (Highway / Drainage) to join a well-regarded consultancy known for delivering innovative and sustainable transport planning solutions.\n\nAs a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering drainage and highway designs for new development projects. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits.\n\nThey will consider all level of candidates.\n\nYou will be responsible for:\n\nDesign technical solutions for highway and drainage systems to support S104, S38, and S278 applications.\nPerform a range of technical assessments for new developments.\nProvide guidance and technical explanations to junior staff and clients.\nReview technical documents, reports, and drawings produced by junior team members.\nPresent technical information to internal and external stakeholders.\nManage projects to ensure high-quality delivery on time and to specification.\nRegularly update progress and collaborate with Project Managers to coordinate tasks.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project phases.\nStay up to date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and innovations in civil engineering.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nPreviously worked as a Civil Engineer, Highway Engineer, Drainage Engineer, Civil Design Engineer, Highway Design Engineer, Drainage Design Engineer, Civil Infrastructure Engineer, Highway and Drainage Engineer or in a similar role.\nPossess 2 years’ experience working in UK development-related infrastructure engineering.\nExperience in preparing highways or drainage designs, particularly S38, S278, and S104 processes.\nBackground in writing flood risk assessments or drainage strategies.\nProficient in drainage design principles and skilled in using Microdrainage and/or Causeway Flow software.\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.\nUnderstanding of relevant UK design standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, and planning policies\nSkilled in in AutoCAD and Civils 3D.\nFull UK driving licence.\nRight to work in the UK.\n\nWhat's on offer:\n\nCompetitive salary\n25 Days annual leave\nCasual dress\nCompany pension\nLife insurance\nPaid volunteer time\nSick pay\nCycle to Work Scheme\nEmployee mentoring programme\n\nApply now for this exceptional Senior Drainage Engineer opportunity to work with a dynamic team and further enhance your career.\n\nImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
