Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryWe are representing a well-established engineering firm seeking a Site / Civil Engineer to support land development and site design projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and public-sector work. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to build a strong technical foundation while working closely with senior engineers and project managers through all phases of design and permitting.
Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers with site and civil design for land development projects

Support site grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for site drainage and stormwater systems

Prepare construction drawings and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D
-
Research and apply local and state code requirements to project designs

Prepare permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies
-
Develop preliminary cost estimates and quantities
-
Participate in construction observation and site visits as needed
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
-
0–3 years of experience in site or civil engineering ( experience counts)

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
-
Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
-
Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
-
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
-
Exposure to land development, municipal, or site permitting projects
