Civil Engineer\n £35,000 - £42,000\n Birmingham, West Midlands \n\n We’re working with a growing consultancy in Birmingham who are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your experience, work closely with senior engineers, and develop your career on a wide range of projects.\n\n You’ll be part of a supportive and friendly team, with clear technical workflows to guide your development, while being given responsibility to take ownership of your work and progress quickly.\n\n What you’ll be doing \n\nProducing drawings, calculations, reports, and design documents\nUsing design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, KeySign, and Lighting Reality\nContributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure schemes in a collaborative team setting\nLiaising with clients, contractors, and third parties to support smooth project delivery\nCompleting site visits and reviewing constraints during design and construction stages\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nRelevant civil engineering experience within consultancy or a related environment\nKnowledge of highways, drainage, and external works design\nFamiliarity with design standards, guidance, and CDM responsibilities\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset\nClear communication skills and ambition to grow within a thriving team\nWhat’s on offer\n\n£30,000 - £40,000 salary (DOE)\nBenefits package worth c. £2,500\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nProfessional development and support from experienced senior engineers\nModern Birmingham city centre office with a collaborative working culture\nThis is an excellent chance to join a growing consultancy where you’ll quickly gain responsibility, develop new skills, and work on diverse projects across the region
