Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Location: Duquesne, PA
Salary: $80K-140K
Requirements: 5+ years of civil and environmental engineering experience. Experience with planning, permitting, zoning, and work with the NPDES.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team, responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in permitting and project management, with expertise in hydraulic software to ensure the design and implementation of effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
- Prepare and submit permitting documentation in compliance with local regulations.
- Utilize hydraulic software to perform analysis and design of water resource systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and track progress against these metrics.
- Conduct quality control and assurance on engineering designs and implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in hydraulic software, such as PondPack and Hydroflow.
- Familiarity with zoning laws and regulations.
- E.I.T. or P.E. certification is a plus.
- Experience in stormwater management and erosion control is .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
