The successful Civil Division Manager will:
Review Plans/Specifications as needed to provide detailed cost estimate/budget for site/civilservices on projects.
Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project.
Responsible for ordering/procuring needed materials on projects and coordinating with vendors on submittal requirements and schedule.
Updates and tracks project budget to ensure project is below or on budget.
Coordinates with estimating on selection of subcontractors working on project.
Oversee with Project Manager and Site Foreman that project performance regarding plans/specifications is being met (Quality Control).
Supervises site foreman and tradesman. Reviews daily field reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
Tracks and controls Divisional Look-Ahead schedule to ensure respective crews are on-site when needed and informed of responsibilities.
Coordinates with Director of Operations about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
Responsible for cataloging and updated project specific site/civil documentation.

The successful Civil Division Manager will have the following:
8+ years experience in site/civil means & methods
General knowledge of site/civil equipment capabilities and usage
Proficient in site/civil estimating means & methods as well as estimating software programs
Proficient in Microsoft Project Scheduling Software
Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications (i.e Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
