Civil Design Engineers - Bristol

My client is seeking skilled Civil Design Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity involves working on a variety of water projects, including both infrastructure and non-infrastructure, clean water and waste water projects across multiple frameworks such as STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water. This role is based in Bristol, with hybrid working arrangements available.



Key Responsibilities:



Designing and developing civil engineering solutions for water-related projects

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes

Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Producing technical documents and design reports

Conducting site visits and surveys as required

Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Managing project timelines and deliverables

Engaging with stakeholders and clients to ensure project requirements are met



Job Requirements:



Experience in civil engineering design, particularly within the water sector

Proficiency with relevant design software and tools

Strong understanding of water-related infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
