Civil Design Engineers - Brighton

Our client is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers to join their team in Brighton, working within the water sector on a contract basis. This position offers a hybrid work model and falls inside IR35, providing an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water.



Key Responsibilities:



Developing detailed civil designs for a mix of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects related to clean and waste water

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Conducting site assessments and investigations

Preparing technical reports and documentation

Providing technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Managing project timelines and deliverables effectively

Engaging in problem-solving and delivering innovative design solutions



Job Requirements:



Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector

Proficiency in civil design principles and relevant software

Strong technical report writing and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements

Degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
