Are you passionate about engineering and ready to leave your mark on the local community? We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Civil Design Engineer to join our team in White Bear Lake, MN. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that improve local infrastructure and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans and construction documents using the latest AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Design site grading, drainage, and erosion control systems to ensure project efficiency and compliance.
- Create innovative design solutions for outdoor athletic facilities.
- Conduct site observations during construction to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 2-4 years of experience in civil site design; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- EIT certification or plans to take the FE exam soon after starting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Detail-oriented and motivated to deliver high-quality work.
- MnDOT certifications in asphalt, concrete, and gravel, along with experience in construction sites and surveying equipment, are beneficial.
