Job Title: Job Title: Civil AutoCAD Technician

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Pay Range: $80k - $100k + bonus

Summary

Connect Search is hiring a Civil AutoCAD Technician in Milwaukee. This position offers a hybrid work from home schedule of days per week.


Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed technical drawings and plans based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project goals and objectives and ensure seamless integration of design elements into overall project plans.
  • Create 2D and 3D models for land development infrastructure such as site layout, grading, roadways, and utilities.
  • Review and modify drawings to correct errors and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation and support in the development of AutoCAD blocks and templates for use in drawings.


Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree related to C3D drawing production, engineering or similar. Other drafting qualifications/certifications will be considered
  • 5+ years of AutoCAD software design and drafting experience
  • A strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Strong understanding of design concepts including earthwork, surface, site grading, pipe network, ArcGIS, etc
  • Ability to read and translate architectural floorplans and technical drawings
  • Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes
