Job Description

Join a long-established regional law firm with a strong local presence and exciting plans to expand. With around 70 earners, the firm is well-regarded in civil and commercial disputes. As a Civil and Commercial Disputes Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, including contested probate matters, while working in a supportive, collaborative team, with excellent opportunities for professional growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities

\n\t
• Manage a caseload of civil and commercial disputes, including contract disputes, property matters, debt recovery, professional negligence, and contested probate

\n\t

• Advise clients from instruction through to resolution, including ADR and litigation

\n\t

• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and settlement agreements

\n\t

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective client solutions

\n\t

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

\n

\n\n

Requirements

\n\n

\n\t
• 1–6 years PQE in civil and commercial dispute resolution

\n\t

• Strong litigation experience and knowledge of CPR

\n\t

• Confident managing files independently

\n\t

• Excellent drafting and client-handling skills

\n\t

• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
