FM33436\n\nCHP Field Service Engineer\n\n£45,000 -£50,000 + Benefits\n\nYorkshire\n\nAlecto Recruitment is working with a leading company in the power and renewable energy sector, who are seeking a CHP Field Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of generator assets across multiple sites\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and sites.\nAssist and guide Operations staff with servicing, breakdowns, and routine maintenance.\nMaintain and inspect plant equipment, including pumps, motors, PV systems, energy storage units.\nEnsure compliance with HSQE standards, company procedures, and legislation.\nManage spare parts, stock control, and complete all required documentation and records.\nParticipate in on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.\nMonitor site performance, support audits, and handle environmental responsibilities including incident response.\nSupervise contractors and represent the company professionally on site.Skills & Requirements\n\nStrong experience with overhaul of reciprocating engines in a field service environment.\nKnowledge of generator systems (e.g. MWM, CAT, MTU desirable).\nElectrical, mechanical, and heat system maintenance experience.\nExperience with control systems (12V DC - 415V AC).\nProven fault finding and diagnostic skills.\nGas Safe certification (or willingness to obtain).\nFull UK driving licence and basic IT skills required.INDW\n\nTo apply for this role please send your CV to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) ext 220 to discuss.\n\nEqually, if this role would not be of interest to you but may be for a suitable friend or colleague, we can offer paid referral fees for successful placements
