Chiller System Engineer - Project Manager in Lansing

Job Description

The Chiller System Engineer - Project Manager manages assigned jobs for primarily custom-built chiller and heat transfer systems. They work as a direct link between sales, production and the customer to ensure systems are being quoted, designed and built to our standards, while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

·        Leads design meetings with customers, OEMs and with other engineering disciplines on custom projects.

\n

·        Engineering mechanical refrigeration and pumping systems based on provided specifications.

\n

·        Specifying components and developing BOMs for mechanical refrigeration systems.

\n

·        Producing engineering drawings such as P&IDs, plumbing layouts and general arrangements for customer submittal packages.

\n

·        Works directly with customers and contractors regarding design approvals, engineering changes, and overall status of production on custom and standard products. 

\n

\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\n

·        Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, or similar field

\n

·        3-5 years of experience

\n

·        AutoCad and/or SolidWorks

\n

·        Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, etc....

\n

·        Excellent time management skills

\n
