Job Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in a part-time hybrid role. This position involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with a mix of in-person sessions (Bronx-based) and telepsychiatry visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for patients under 18.

• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.

• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care providers, and school-based staff.

• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.

• Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and integrated care models.

• Contribute to the development of pediatric and adolescent mental health services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted New York State medical license.

• DEA license and Suboxone waiver (or willingness to obtain).

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with diverse pediatric populations.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and hybrid care models.
