The mission:
Operate as an integrator between the different departments and the Group
Coordinate the development of different solutions to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
Work closely with regulatory authorities and political decision-makers in Switzerland to create the right framework for economically feasible decarbonization projects.
Take advantage of every opportunity to obtain subsidies for projects with a view to achieving carbon neutrality.
Formulate project proposals in the fields of the circular economy and CO2 capture, storage and recovery (CCUS).
Lead and supervise decarbonization projects, steering them from the initial phases through to gradual takeover by implementation teams.
Carry out relevant technical and economic analyses (even with incomplete data).
Profile:
7+ years of experience in sustainable project management.
Master's degree in engineering.
Fluent in German/Swiss German and also have a very good command of French.
Experience with the industry, regulatory frameworks, networking and lobbying.
Required skills and competencies: project management, a strong sense of strategic thinking to achieve a long-term vision, a high degree of self-management, and the ability to lead diverse teams and work in parallel.
