Overview:

We are looking for a Chief Electrical Estimator skilled in managing an estimating department and possessing deep knowledge in various electrical estimating sectors.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage an estimating team to achieve over $150M revenue annually.

Develop and enforce training procedures.

Drive departmental performance to meet financial goals.

Manage workload, review bidding opportunities, and ensure accuracy in estimates and proposals.

Coordinate with the Executive team on company initiatives and report departmental progress.

Maintain relationships with contractors and clients.

Ensure job profitability by understanding costs and overhead.

Manage proposal delivery across various methods including design/build and change orders.

Analyze subcontractor and vendor proposals for best value.

Lead RFP proposal writing teams.

Oversee estimating department operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

10-20 years’ experience in electrical construction estimation.

Experience in multiple construction sectors and estimating various electrical systems.

Preferable experience with ConEST Intel ibid software.

Strong communication skills.

Proficient in estimating low and medium voltage, utility electrical systems.
