Position Overview

DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s physical property, guest rooms, and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our guests and team members.

We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on technical experience, particularly in plumbing, electrical systems, and PTAC units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas

• Troubleshoot and repair PTAC units (operation and diagnostics required)

• Address plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, fixture repairs, and replacements

• Perform electrical repairs and basic troubleshooting safely and effectively

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe condition

• Ensure compliance with safety and brand standards

Required Qualifications

• Must have plumbing experience

• Must have electrical experience

• Must have PTAC operating and troubleshooting experience

• Must have own tools

• Flexible schedule required (including weekends and holidays)

• Prior hotel maintenance experience strongly

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
