Chemical Process Operator

The Role:
As a Chemical Process Operator, you will take full ownership of the production cycle. You aren't just watching a machine; you are managing the chemistry.
Core Responsibilities:
Manual Batching: Accurately measuring and hand-adding reactants to raw materials at precise intervals.
Process Monitoring: Overseeing reactions, recording key parameters, and taking samples for Quality Control testing.
Material Logistics: Loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars; utilizing a forklift to move drums, totes, and pallets.
Facility Maintenance: Cleaning and flushing lines/pumps to prevent contamination and performing simple mechanical adjustments (tightening valves/fittings).
Quality Documentation: Following strict ISO standards to ensure every batch meets the highest level of excellence.
Requirements:
Attention to Detail: You must be precise with measurements and documentation! Quality is a top priority.
Physical Stamina: Ability to shovel materials, lift 50lb bags, and work in a manual environment.
PPE Compliance: Must be willing and able to wear a full-face respirator to complete duties safely.
Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools for minor equipment adjustments.
Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn new processes and take on increasing responsibility.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment is but not required for those with a strong mechanical background.
Valid Forklift Certification (or the ability to obtain one).
Must pass a comprehensive background check and 10-panel drug screen.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $33.00 Per Hour
