Chemical Process Engineer
Pasadena, TX

Position Summary
The Process Engineer plays a key role in overseeing and optimizing production operations at our Pasadena, Texas facility. This position focuses on ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality processes while driving continuous improvement and supporting capital and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve day-to-day production processes and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot technical and equipment issues in coordination with operators and supervisors.
- Analyze process data and lab results to identify trends and implement performance improvements.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and HSE teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Support capital and maintenance projects, including planning, scope development, and contractor oversight.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
- Provide training and technical guidance to operations personnel.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote a strong culture of safety and compliance.
- Prepare material balance reports and utility usage calculations to support production efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with customer service and management regarding process performance and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering ).
- 7+ years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or refining manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and production or inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 quality systems .
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license a plus.

Work Environment
