Job Title: General Laborer – Chemical Manufacturing
Location: Pontiac, MI.
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Occasional Saturday overtime; shift flexibility based on demand (start time may be as early as 4am)
We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our production team. This role involves handling chemical products, performing heavy lifting, and supporting daily operations in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production and packaging of chemical treatments and lubricants
- Safely handle and lift 55 lb bags and 200+ lb rods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Stay productive during downtime by identifying tasks or assisting team members
- Operate a forklift (if certified – not required)
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials consistently
- Willingness to get dirty and wear appropriate work clothing
- No phones or earbuds allowed during shift
- Completion of 480 hours is required before permanent hire
Dress Code/PPE
- Required: waterproof work boots, jeans or cargo pants (no holes)
- Provided: safety glasses, face shield, smock
