Company is deploying a revolutionary technology that up-cycles any waste stream through molecular recycling into usable products and assets such as heat, steam and water. This approach is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional processing of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), such as landfilling and incineration.
Position Overview The primary role of this position is to design, implement and assist in building various systems required for support of company machine operation, site construction, or site operation. Primary duties include design, simulation, and experimentation. The Chemical Engineer would report directly to the VP of engineering Operations and would work in a small tea with a variety of engineering skill sets with plans to grow rapidly.

Chemical mass balances and stoichiometric equations Utilize UNISIM/MATLAB/ANSYS to simulate custom reactions and product creation Oversee and manage chemical testing of materials in liquid and solids Design equipment to treat water and solids for certain reactants Design or specify gas treatment equipment Participate in design reviews, FEAs, RCAs, and other technical discussions Work with the companys technology group to give feedback and implement Product changes and design improvements of the MSW destructor. Analyze and identify cause of system issues Assist in manufacturing of designs Provide Chemical designs for site construction. Works directly with management and engineering to resolve problems Other duties as assigned
Specific Skills/Abilities CAD: UNISIM/MATLAB/ANSYS/FUSION/3D Experience with feedback control systems. Experience with plasma behavior Experience with hydrogen reactants and processes Experience with extracting materials in a solution utilizing Hydrogen All Microsoft Products Basic knowledge of electrical and automation systems Safety procedures Hand tools Teamwork Organization Ability to work practically. Tolerance for challenging fast past start up demands.
Education/Experience Minimum 5 years of Chemical/Process design engineering Masters degree a preference PE preference but not a requirement. B.S. in engineering from an accredited Institution Self-starter, willing to learn and able to work with minimal supervision
