We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batch Maker/Chemical Blender to join our team in a fast-paced chemical processing plant.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality products while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards. As a Batch Maker, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and packaging ingredients according to established recipes and specifications while ensuring compliance with industry standards. In this position you will need to be able to handle STRONG smells, you are working with cleaning/chemical products

Duties:

• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately for batch production following specific recipes.
• Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Assist in packaging finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and storage conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
• Document batch production details accurately, including ingredient usage, equipment maintenance, and sanitation practices.
• Moving 55 gallon drum

Requirements:

• 3 years blending/batch making experience
• Bending/Lifting repetitively
• Experience in production or manufacturing within the cleaning products industry is .
• Familiarity with chemical processing techniques and sanitation practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation of ingredients.
• Mechanical knowledge to operate production machinery effectively.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food safety.
