Job Summary: The Quality Control Inspector ensures that fabricated items conform to approved drawings, Codes/Standards, and quality requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector

*         Day Shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm) Monday – Friday

*         No Travel

Duties: This position is critical in maintaining high-quality standards in the production process and ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.

1. Inspection of Subassemblies and Products: Ensure that the materials, processes, and dimensions of subassemblies, assemblies, and completed products meet the specifications outlined in approved drawings.
2. Interpretation of Technical Drawings and Standards: Understand and apply shop fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and dimensions.
3. Weld Inspection: Inspect welds for size, location, and visual quality, ensuring they align with the requirements of the approved drawings and relevant codes such as AWS D1.1.
4. Final Assembly Inspection: Review finished assembled products to ensure proper assembly and that all components are included and functional.
5. Receiving Inspection of Raw Materials: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, including pipe, plate, welding consumables, and hardware, to verify Material Test Reports (MMTRs) and Certificates of Conformance.
