Certified HVAC Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a CERTIFIED HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team IMMEDIATELY!

Potential to Live On-Site if Desired for Qualified Candidate

You will be responsible for completing work orders for HVAC and routine maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Complete work/repair orders, and assigned maintenance requests with a sense of urgency
• Must have knowledge of Split Systems, with the ability to repair and install them
• Must be able to complete unit turnovers, including:

  • Laying vinyl flooring

  • Cutting and hanging doors

  • Performing electrical repairs (installing light fixtures, outlets, etc.)

• Must be able to repair leaking pipes.

• Knowledge of operating a Pro-Press tool for plumbing repairs is but not required

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, monitor and maintain all building systems and equipment
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Maintain day-to-day operations of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager
• Diagnosing problems and making repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, appliances, and any related residential apartment requirements.
• Complete routine community inspections
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special projects as necessary
• Maintain physical condition of the property according to company operating and safety standards
• Spanish Speaking is a Plus!!!!

​Qualifications:

• Must have 4 years of previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Must be Certified in HVAC repair and Section 608 Stationary Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Certification
• Must be able to provide 3 professional references
• Must have their own car with a valid driver's license to get to work
• Must possess some of their own tools
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workloads
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must be willing to work some evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as necessary
• Must pass a criminal background check
