Job Title: Certified Crane Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Certified Crane Operator to join our team. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating mobile and/or tower cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment on construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of crane operations, load charts, rigging practices, and OSHA safety standards, while ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment according to project needs.
• Inspect cranes daily before use to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Read and interpret lift plans, load charts, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and other crew members to execute safe lifting operations.
• Follow OSHA, ANSI, and company safety regulations and best practices at all times.
• Set up and dismantle crane equipment as required for specific job sites.
• Maintain accurate records of lifts, inspections, and equipment usage.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist with repairs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid NCCCO ( Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent crane operator certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent ().
• Minimum 5+ years experience operating cranes on construction or industrial sites.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques, load calculations, and signaling methods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, and work in elevated positions.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.

Skills:

• Experience with multiple crane types (crawler, mobile, tower, rough terrain, lattice boom).
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  

Work Environment:

• Outdoor job sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Requires PPE and adherence to strict safety guidelines.
• May involve overtime and weekends.
