Job description:

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of cell tower experience, and travel Monday through Friday in the Field. We pay per diem and for travel.

Were seeking an experiencedConstruction Top Handto join our team. In this role, youll work on tower construction, deconstruction, line and antenna installations/decommissions, maintenance repairs, lighting installations, and tower/foundation modifications, under the direct supervision of the crew leader and project manager. This hands-on position requires working at heights, performing physically demanding tasks, and ensuring compliance with strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining communication towers, antennas, and related equipment.
• Responsible for all tower-side rigging and lift safety.
• Line and antenna experience to include microwave, omnis, panels, dipoles, and DragonWave/Ceragon ().
• Capable of supporting and facilitating crew leader directives.
• Perform tower inspections and routine maintenance to ensure structural integrity and equipment functionality.
• Follow ETS and OSHA safety regulations, including using proper fall protection and PPE.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure timely completion of construction and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site, providing support to senior technicians as needed.
• Participate in job site setup, tool organization, and post-project cleanup.

What Were Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience as a Tower Hand in wireless construction.
• Ability to work safely at heights of up to 500 feet or more.
• Strong understanding of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight stays Mon-Friday
• Must have a valid drivers license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check. (No felonies for the past 10 yrs)
