This role offers the opportunity to lead a multi-million-dollar transformative transportation infrastructure project in Orlando as part of a highly respected engineering firm known for innovation and quality in heavy civil, roadway, and expressway engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for major roadway and bridge design projects.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of 25+ engineers and designers.
• Manage all design, scheduling, and technical aspects of a multi-million-dollar expressway project.
• Ensure strict compliance with FDOT standards, safety requirements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Collaborate with FDOT, contractors, and consultants throughout design and construction phases.
• Oversee deliverables for roadway, drainage, structures, and traffic disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s ).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Florida license strongly (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
• 10+ years of progressive transportation or roadway project experience; large project (>$100M) leadership required.
• Proven heavy civil / FDOT / expressway experience.
• Complex Category Two (CC2) Bridge Structures experience is a plus.
• FDOT MOT and CTQP Quality Control Manager certifications required (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
