We are seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team. This is a local position, and you will be responsible for delivering pallets to our commercial customers in Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity to join a local company, to build your career, and be a part of an amazing company.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with hours generally between 6 am to 5 pm. No weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
• Load and unload trucks
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile phones.

Qualifications:

• A current CDL A license with an excellent driving record and stable work history is required
• A minimum of 2 years of CDL A driving experience is required
• Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
• Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
