Job Summary
As a CCTV Pipe Inspection Operator, you’ll support sewer and stormwater infrastructure inspections using robotic camera systems. You’ll help identify defects, blockages, and other pipe conditions critical to maintaining public safety and environmental compliance. New team members will start by assisting in all aspects of the process, with the opportunity to lead their own crew after training.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CCTV pipe inspection systems (crawlers, monitors, and related equipment)

Record, analyze, and document pipe conditions including structural issues, blockages, and inflow/infiltration

Generate reports using industry-standard software

Assist with traffic control, vacuum truck support, and general site setup

Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and field maintenance

Work safely in confined spaces and follow all safety protocols

Collaborate with teammates and communicate findings clearly

Ensure inspections meet client specs and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements

Proven field experience in pipe inspection or utility construction or willingness to learn

API 1169 Pipeline Inspector certification (required)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions

Comfortable working in confined spaces and around moving equipment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed

Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
Qualifications

Experience using CCTV inspection equipment and PACP software (e.g., WinCan)

Familiarity with sewer and stormwater systems

OSHA 10 or HAZWOPER certification

CDL Class B or higher is a plus
